A short drive northwest from our Urbana shop takes us out to Mahomet, where lot sizes tend to be generous and the landscaping is often more involved. We bring the equipment and the patience that larger yards call for.

Mahomet has a different feel than the denser parts of Champaign-Urbana. With Lake of the Woods, the Sangamon River corridor and a lot of newer development on the edges of the village, you see a real mix here. Established homesites carry mature trees and wooded edges, while the newer subdivisions offer wide open lawns and freshly planted yards. Several properties run closer to the rural side, with acreage that needs a bigger mowing plan.

That variety is exactly why a one size approach does not work in Mahomet.
